Travel like a local can be understood in different ways. We can for instance do a part of the program by bike or boat. Did you know that people in the Netherlands bike more than 15 million kilometres each year? And there are more than 39.000 kilometres of biking paths. These numbers show that more than a quarter of all mobility is done by bike! As you know, the Netherlands is a country with a lot of water: lakes, sea, canals and rivers. This means that boats are also a quite normal means of transport. Canaltours are very popular by tourists, but also amongst the locals. Whenever possible, we prefer to work with local companies who also contribute to the local society. In this way we can also give back to the local society and you will get a tour that really takes you on a local path.
